Strategic Business Solutions provides managed hosting solutions that range from basic web site hosting to hosting of complex and demanding custom and commercial web and business applications.

Basic Site Hosting
Because we are not a commodity provider we can offer hosting that is more secure and tailored to the unique needs of each client. We generally only host sites that are developed by our company. We provide a complete hosting solution that includes web site maintenance and monitoring, web traffic statistics and overall management of the hosting infrastructure.

Custom Hosting Solutions
When a web site or application gets more sophisticated, a custom hosting solution is required. These solutions run on their own dedicated server(s) and often have their own dedicated network infrastructure.  We typically bundle managed services so that a complete, turnkey solution can be offered. Potential solutions include hosting of custom applications, web sites and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications.  Monthly hosting fees are based on bandwidth, space, equipment and labor.

An example of hosted commercial applications is a Managed Security and Hosting Agreement with a growing client in the Mortgage industry. We host their Microsoft Exchange and Calyx Point Servers so that multiple offices can securely access the data. In this case the customer owns all software licenses, but we provide the equipment and labor to operate the solution.  A company that hosts commercial applications is commonly referred to as an Application Service Provider (ASP).
